Born in Genova, 12^th June 1957, degree in Political Science - Genova University in 1982.
Entered the Foreign Service in 1984.
1985 – Assigned to the Directorate General of Political Affairs. 1986 – First Vice Consul – Consulate General London.
1989 – First Secretary – Embassy of Italy, Nairobi.
1994 – Assigned to the Directorate General of Political Affairs.
1996 – Consul General in Calcutta.
1999 - Counsellor for Migration and Social Affairs – Embassy of Italy,
           Buenos Aires.
2000 - First Counsellor.
2004 – Assigned to the Directorate General of Development Cooperation.
          Head of the Policy and Budget Unit.
2007 – First Counsellor and Deputy Head of Mission – Embassy of Italy,
           Buenos Aires.
2010 – Ambassador of Italy to the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.

[Mimmo Paladino (Paduli, Benevento, Italy, 1948). In his works the artist captures figures and obsessive forms inspired sometimes by the art and artifacts from past and present cultures. The visual language of Paladin is neither narrative nor essential: is fluid and ambiguous because art,
in his way of expressing it, should not give answers but ask questions.
His numerous solo exhibitions have been held in public museums and private galleries around the world.
His paintings and sculptures are found in important public spaces and in prestigious private and institutional collections].

First copies of the work - made possible with the help of some Italian companies present in Bangladesh - were delivered to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Dipu Moni, Hon. Minister Franco Frattini and Secretary of State Stefania Craxi.
